Samsung has a long-term collaboration agreement with Amazon and for this reason, they have announced that there will be exclusive content in 8K resolution, as a sneak peeks of the series.
Samsung will show 25 minutes of the first two episodes on its video wall at the flagship in New York as well as different content on the LED screens in Times Square, Piccadilly Circus, and Piazza del Duomo in Milan, among others, announcing the availability of these contents extra in 8K.
It is the first time we see this type of collaboration and it is a small step towards 8K resolution, a step that is getting very hard to take.
On screens with a diagonal size of fewer than 75 inches at a normal viewing distance of 2-3 meters, it is difficult to tell the difference.
However, Samsung’s Neo QLED also brings upscaling technologies to offer 4K content intelligently rescaled to take advantage of this 8K resolution.
